Mobile Engineering Supervisor
Equans is looking for a Mobile Engineering Supervisor to join our team in Bellshill on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Experience in multi-skilled, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
- Team Leadership Skills and experience and able to prioritise and work to agreed deadlines and timescales.
- Familiar with industry H&S Standards
- Safe Supervision and management of all personnel (direct team of 7) and Specialist Sub-Contractors
- Prepare and check all task related Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH
- Ability to provide Technical Assistance to other Engineers and Mentor as appropriate.
- Experience and knowledge of CAFM systems.
- Manage and monitor Planned Preventative Maintenance [PPM] and Reactive Repairs
- Maintain all Compliance Records and Certification to the standard required by Legislation.
- Ensure all jobs are prepared for invoicing correctly and timeously.
- Manage WIP (Work in Progress)
- Deliver customer satisfaction in accordance with the agreed KPI’s mandated under the
- SLA/Contract
- Taking appropriate action as required and being prepared for contingencies.

Who are we looking for?
- A recognised industry qualification required (an electrical or mechanical discipline preferred)
- Previous experience required.
- Ideally IOSH qualified (preferable but not essential)

Static site supervisor

Harwell is Moderna new Innovation and Technology Centre (MITC) site which is responsible for the development and manufacture of its pharmaceutical products. The site consists of manufacturing, clean rooms, laboratory, office and plant rooms. The nature of their business requires their Lab and manufacturing areas to meet clean room standards. The maintenance of their HVAC equipment is of the upmost importance to ensure their production and science always remains operational.
As Equans representative and first point of contact with the Client, the importance of this role cannot be overestimated. It is essential that all works are carried in a cost effective, timely manner, maximising revenue, where possible.
The successful candidate will have the ability to manage the site’s engineer team and ensure PPM targets are met on a monthly basis, as well as, ensure the site remains statutory complaint and critical infrastructure remains operational.
What will you deliver?
- Manage both customer and team expectations
- Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests and coordinate quotations Provide monthly reports if and when required and attend client meetings and close down audit reports and actions
- Review Engineering Job Sheets in timely manner for accuracy, legibility & remedial works
- Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and documented in real time using the PDA to log start/wait/stop completion and travel times with appropriate comments to evidence completion of work
- Update customers CAFM system in real time with start/wait/stop completion times and provide full description of works undertaken, advising of any follow-on works required
- Ensure reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made. Identify and record all plant failures using quotation forms and issue to line manager. This is to be indicated and recorded within the CAFM system
- Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order. In accordance with the delegated authority with the applicable contract or authorised by the client
- To undertake electrical test and inspection of electrical systems
- Carryout regular site audits
- To attend site in response to breakdowns or failures of the equipment outside of normal working hours (call outs). Take part in the on-call rota
- Ensure toolbox talks are carried out
- Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance

What will you deliver?
- To be accountable for the financial performance of the contracts
- To ensure personnel manage the contract to the Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- To ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment and quality are effectively managed through the use of risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and clients
- To operate a Permit to Work System in accordance with Equans Technical and SHEQ processes and client requirements (or approved client system)
- To review monthly audit checks demonstrating legislative compliance within scope of service delivery streams and to escalate to the portfolio director as necessary
- To ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across the stakeholder groups
- To ensure all PPM and reactive tasks are carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and documented in real time using the CAFM system

Life Cycle Project Manager
Equans is looking for a Life Cycle Project Manager to join our team in Rotherham Schools on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, car allowance, company bonus and benefits package.
Overview
The candidate will be responsible for scoping, specifying, planning, procuring and the operational delivery of all Lifecycle requirements at the site; becoming the principle lead in delivering both minor works & major refurbishment projects.
Reporting to the Regional Account Director, the candidate will control the day to day budget forecasting & expenditure, ensuring works are delivered on time and on budget.
Key Deliverables:
- Create all required tender specifications for required refurbishment works at site – encompassing building fabric, fixtures, fittings and furniture.
- Engage with the supply chain and the client to identify products & finishes that meet both contractual obligations and client expectations.
- Liaise with the Technical Services Manager to scope & specify all required Mechanical & Electrical lifecycle works across the accommodation units.
- Work with the Regional Account Director to shape and develop the long-term Lifecycle plan (minimum 5 years).
- Oversee the administration of Lifecycle budgets, forecasts, expenditure and purchasing through the Coupa procurement system.
- Plan / Schedule all works and requirements, ensuring all scheduled activities are agreed with the SPV and other stakeholders.
- Continually review all possible routes to delivery of works, ensuring best value and maximum budget reach for EQUANS.
- Manage and programme all works for the in-house team of lifecycle craftsmen.
- Work with the central procurement teams to identify suitable suppliers of products, materials and works packages as necessary, inclusive of inducting new suppliers to the site.
- Work with the Regional Account Director & Technical Services Manager to ensure all Construction Defects are identified and addressed in conjunction with all planned Lifecycle works.
- Take a direct role in site managing subcontractors delivering works on behalf of EQUANS.
- Liaise with the SHEQ support teams to ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Statutory obligations for all Lifecycle activities, including direct & main contractor led workstreams.
- Manage the performance of main contractors for major refurbishment projects, ensuring strict compliance with the EQUANS Works Subcontract particulars.
- Support the Regional Account Director in liaising with EQUANS internal stakeholders for all planned works.
- Ensure all O&M’s and Planned Preventative Maintenance activities are updated following delivery of works.

- IOSH Managing Safely.

Performance & Support Services Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Performance & Support Services Manager to join our facilities team working on our Greater Manchester Police TFM contract based at Eccles police station, and covering the entire police estate across Greater Manchester. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
The role:
- Reporting to the General Manager
- Responsible for day-to-day and strategic management of contract performance through the management of the CAFM system, the Service Desk and administration function associated with the Greater Manchester Police Authority PFI contract.
- To ensure that all services are measured and reported consistently to the required standard and that they meet the specific requirements of the FM Contract, Authority Requirements (PA), and our clients.
- Line Management of the Service Desk, Administration and Performance Teams
- Ensure efficient and effective running of the Service / Helpdesk function including performance reviews and CAFM analysis.
- Undertake AP/RP duties as required with appropriate training
- Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday
The person:
- Must have experience of line management and in particular a focus on Helpdesk operations
- Must have detailed and experienced understanding of PFI contracts and compliance with significant experience in a building services environment
- Good understanding of FM industry standards and compliance with ISO 14001, 9001 and 18001
- Must be able to demonstrate effective planning, organising and prioritising skills.
- High level of IT literacy in using Microsoft and CAFM packages (good Excel is essential)
- Proven track record of meeting targets and deadlines
- Good communication and influencing skills
- Able to use own initiative and work well under pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of reporting procedures and record-keeping
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to analyse and interpret information quickly
- Must be able to achieve and retain relevant vetting clearance required by the client
- Full driving licence as travel to sites across the contract will be required

Contract Manager
Equans is looking for a Contract Manager to join our team in the North East region on a permanent basis, covering a number of mobile contract's.

What will you deliver?
- To ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across the stakeholder groups
- Ensure that all risks relating to (SHEQ) safety, health, environment and quality are effectively managed through the use of RAMS, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for employees, clients and end users
- Develop effective working relationships with operational personnel, business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors to improve contractual operational performance.
- Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with the Client and related Client organisations

- Agree and maintain a clear business plan for the appointed contract

- work with the mobile teams in planning, implementing and monitoring the standards of all works relating to the PPM schedule and all reactive works
- Accountable for the financial performance of the contract and the review the monthly audit checks demonstrating legislative compliance within scope of service delivery streams and to escalate to the Account Manager as necessary
- Develop and Monitor direct reports through training and regular reviews

Account Manager
Equans is looking for an Account Manager to join our team in Salford Quays - Manchester on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.
The role holder will coordinate all resources and stakeholders to deliver a high level of service to clients with maximum efficiency and in a safe, sustainable, and collaborative manner.
What will you deliver?
- Manage the client service delivery at Media City & Quayside, ensuring all available resources work in a collaborative manner.
- Accountable for the financial performance of the contract working with the Account Director and Financial Business Partner to achieve our financial targets set for the contract.
- Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with all client stakeholders across Media City and Quayside.
- Ensure compliance across all 11 contractual KPI’s.
- Manage Resident Engineers and Subcontractors in line with the Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Monitor and develop direct reports through training and regular reviews.
- Deliver training and corporate briefings
- Working with the Technical Manager ensure that all risks relating to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality are effectively managed using risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and clients.
- Review the monthly audit checks demonstrating legislative compliance within scope of service delivery streams and to escalate to the Account Director as necessary.
- Work in a strategic manner with the Critical Infrastructure Manager to ensure all critical areas are effectively maintained and compliant.
- Work with the on-site teams in planning, implementing, and monitoring the standards of all works relating to the PPM schedule and reactive works
- Work with the operational and support teams to ensure all completion times for planned, corrective and reactive works are correctly logged and recorded within the company’s asset management system Planon Universe
- Establish, operate and maintain procedures for the effective planning, organisation, control, monitor and review of the services.
- Drive successful contract negotiations and business improvement initiatives
