School Crossing Patrol Officer

Working in partnership with North East Lincolnshire Council, EQUANS is looking for a School Crossing to join our team in Grimsby on a permanent basis. This is a part-time role working 5 hours per week (term time only). On offer is a salary of £2,340 per annum and benefits package. 

 

You will ensure the safety of children crossing the road at a designated location point between specified times.  A School Crossing Patrol Officer is an essential asset to the local community around them as they will be contributing towards children’s safety getting to and from school.  The ideal candidate for the role is someone living close to the school so its easy for them to get to and from their place of work.

What will you deliver? 

    • Carry out Equans and North East Lincolnshire Council’s policy with regard to the School Crossing Patrol Service, this includes Health and Safety Procedures.
    • Use the uniform and equipment provided for the safety of you, parents, children, and all other members of the public, especially when stopping traffic on the highway.
    • Maintain control over pedestrians who are awaiting your instruction to cross.
    • Report any problems or difficulties to the Road Safety Education Officer/School Crossing Patrol Supervisor.
    • Attend a yearly local training seminar.
    • The post holder must carry out his or her duties with full regard to the organisations Equal Opportunities Policy.

Social Impact Bid Manager

Equans is looking for a Social Impact Bid Manager to join the team in London on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

The role involves working with the bid team and all involved stakeholders to develop commitments that will support the bid proposition in line with the cost model. The Social Impact Bid Manager will be responsible for speaking to external companies, partners, and other 3rd party organizations that can support the bid offering, develop social impact plans for bids, attending storyboarding workshops with clients and bid teams, write bid responses around social impact.

What will you deliver?

  • Working with the bid team and all involved stakeholders to develop commitments that will support the bid proposition in line with the cost model
  • Speaking to external companies, partners, and other 3rd party organisations that can support the bid offering
  • Attending storyboarding workshops, reviewing written documentation, and attending review meetings as required by the bid team
  • Being the main contact for the bid team and Head of Social Impact on all bids
  • Using the Social Value Model, TOMs Framework, PPN06/20, and all other social value legislation/requirements in developing the offering in bids
  • Carrying out research to ensure full understanding of social value challenges, opportunities, and policies relating to the opportunity
  • Attending internal and external bid meetings, including presenting on social value and any site visits
  • Having regular meetings with the bid team to share information and ensure the social value bid pipeline is kept up to date
  • Keeping up to date with external trends and upcoming changes in legislation
  • Utilising the Community Insight Tool and carrying out research on communities that are focused on in the bid proposition

INTERIM PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Equans is looking for an Interim Procurement Manager to join our team in the South of England on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

The purpose of the role is to deliver the procurement and commercial management function across a portfolio of contracts in the South of England.   • Representing Procurement with clients and operations directly to identify and resolve variations from the contract deliverables

Senior Helpdesk Coordinator

EQUANS is looking for a Senior Helpdesk Coordinator to join our team based in Stoke-on-Trent on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. 

The team is the first point of contact for a variety of facilities management requirements and administration which interfaces with onsite teams and clients (both internal and external) so excellent communication skills, organisation skills are essential.

With good interpersonal skills, customer focus and the ability to coach, the Team Senior will act as a first escalation for queries and challenges faced by team members.  They will support the Team Leader to effectively manage the day-to-day operations ensuring the team deliver a friendly and proactive service, effectively handling queries and managing them in accordance with contractual requirements and process.

The Team Senior will monitor team performance against established processes, identifying coaching opportunities and training needs that should be escalated to the Team Leader, celebrating success and sharing best practice. They will complete quality assurance checks, reporting feedback through the appropriate systems to ensure service quality and levels are maintained to the highest standards.

The Team Senior will be expected to work collaboratively across the department to promote closer professional working relationships, ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner and ensure actions are followed up quickly and effectively. 

The Team Leader will work closely with Team Leaders, Performance Manager, Customer experience Manage and the Regional Helpdesk Manager as well as Technical Teams to manage a breadth of KPI’s including, Continuous Improvement, Performance, Productivity and KPI’s.

Document Controller

Equans is looking for a Document Controller to join our team in Hatfield. This is a full time, permanent role with  a salary of up to £30,000 - £35,000 depending on skills and experience, plus benefits package.

This role is to work in our Places and Communities department specialising in refurbishments. Our ideal candidate will have document control experience in construction. You will be confidant when working with site teams and senior managers, as well as managing multiple projects at one time.

HR Data Administrator

EQUANS is looking for a HR Data Administrator to join our team based at our office in Quorum Business Park on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. 

You will be responsible for all administration relating to compliance activities for new starters and existing employees for Equans UKBU. This role will engage with employees, line managers and HR Operational leads to ensure a quality and timely service delivery.

What will you deliver? 

    • Monitor and maintain the organisation hierarchy in Employee Services systems, ensuring line management and costing structures are aligned with current business structure.
    • Work with Employee Services Team Leads to ensure appropriate audit controls are in place, meeting EQUANS standards.
    • Coordinate the contractor process to ensure key data is captured in SAP.
    • Co-ordinate the Cost Distribution Process, working closely with the SSC Finance Team and Finance Business Partners to ensure that all costs are updated in SAP in time for the Payroll run.
    • Co-ordinate, build, test and communicate UKBU HR Operations reporting from SAP using Query Manager or SAP Ad-Hoc reporter; demonstrating subject matter expertise in such systems to train others in their use, schedule patch uploads and co-ordinate any post patch regression testing. 
    • Co-ordinate the authorisations process within Employee Services systems, ensuring employees have the appropriate and relevant access rights within the boundaries of Data Protection.
    • Work with the Business Change team to ensure contract mobilisations and demobilisations are updated in Employee Services systems in a timely manner.
    • Co-ordinate the month end Payroll Controls process to ensure timely payments are made to third parties and liaise with third parties in relation to the breakdown of such payments.  
    • Provide support to the Team on Winshuttle activities such as building scripts and loading/verifying data. 
    • Lead the Annual Leave & Annual Salary Review upload processes, ensuring timely accurate delivery.
    • Appreciation of National Minimum Wage legislation and the impact on employees pay during the processing of National Minimum Wage uplifts. 
    • Ability to calculate salary and allowance payments when processing Annual Salary Reviews and Gender Pay Gap reporting. 
    • Co-ordinate audit activity for own work area, with timely monthly sign off.
    • Co-ordinate annual and monthly MI to ensure the business can make informed decisions. Identify and actively research options for digitalisation and improvements to current processes in line with EQUANS strategy.

Helpdesk Supervisor

EQUANS is looking for a Helpdesk Supervisor to join our team based in Royal Blackburn Teachning Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. 

Reporting to the Contract & Performance Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Helpdesk ensuring that all contractual obligations are met whilst offering a first-class customer experience to all customers who contact the helpdesk. The Helpdesk Supervisor acts as the central point for coordinating communication between the operations team, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all tasks align with company standards and compliance requirements.

 

What will you deliver? 

  • Provide guidance and training to the helpdesk team on helpdesk best practices and the use of the CAFM system.
  • Supervise and line manager the on-site helpdesk team, establish and maintain good team morale and drive performance.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day tasks of the Helpdesk, ensuring compliance with contractual KPI targets and SLAs.
  • Post holder will be responsible for day-to-day monitoring of performance and operational reporting to understand and analyse helpdesk performance, primarily on reactive tasks.
  • Oversee the daily helpdesk processes for the helpdesk team, ensuring timely assignment and completion of work orders.
  • Ensure that all reactive tasks are dispatched to the appropriate operative or subcontractor, taking into consideration skill sets, and priority.
  • Work in collaboration with the BSC team to ensure the 24/7 service received meets the needs of the contract.
  • Leadership of the team who will jeopardy manage all reactive work order requests, acting as the interface between the helpdesk, contract site teams and subcontractors.
  • Produce analytical data reports on reactive work order performance.
  • Produce routine reports/presentations/statistical data for the contract management team to assist with effective management of the contract.
  • Helpdesk point of escalation both internally and externally.
  • Helpdesk Supervisor will also carry out the duties of a Helpdesk Operative when necessary.
  • Develop strong working relationships with engineers/operatives, specialist sub-contractors and fellow managers.
  • Ensure all calls are answered in accordance with the Contractual Requirements and logged accurately and promptly meeting SLA response times for answering calls.
  • Prioritise daily tasks and raise major exceptions with TSMs and TSSs.
  • Ensure that Maximo is kept up-to-date and maintained supported by the site team, I.T. and asset manager.
  • Effectively operate all software / systems, for example, Maximo and Info view, as required.
  • Ensure proper and accurate feedback is placed back into the system from all completed reactive tasks performed.
  • Deliver effective customer service to customers, ensuring all requests and complaints are dealt with in a courteous, tactful, and timely manner.
  • Liaise with client and customers providing feedback and maintaining good working relationship.
  • Liaise with the Contract & Performance Manager & team to communicate key areas of focus daily/weekly.
  • Work in collaboration with commercial colleagues.
  • Raising and managing Purchase Orders for callouts, raising services/remedials through the effective communication with the service teams.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and local processes and procedures.
  • Hold Helpdesk meetings and ensure that key topics are discussed and that all Helpdesk Operators receive useful communication about any changes within the contract or operations.
  • Ensure adherence to the company code of values and manage any non-conformance through escalating to Manager.
  • Support the Contract & Performance Manager with 1:1s and recruitment of Helpdesk Staff.
  • Auditing of Helpdesk performance to ensure that contractual obligations are met.
  • Feed into the monthly report as agreed.
  • Generate operational performance management reports and internal reports on a regular basis or as required by the Management Team.
  • Support during absences to cover sub-contractor sign in and inductions.
  • Admin support – General administration tasks as necessary to support team.
  • Participate in internal Paymech calls.
