Trainee Customer Experience Liaison Officer

EQUANS are recruiting for a Trainee Customer Experience Liaison Officer to be based in the North East Region. This is a full-time permanent role, working 39 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview

Equans are looking to recruit a number of trainee Customer Experience Liaison Officer positions which will be based on sites supporting customers throughout refurbishment works to their home across the North East of England.  We are particularly looking for candidates with strong customer service skills who would be willing to train in the construction industry. The purpose of the role is to  provide effective liaison between the Site Team and members of the public affected by our work and to assist in the smooth running of contracts and provide a personalized Customer Liaison

support.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure implementation of all Company Policies and Procedures.
  • To keep all tenants fully informed as to the programme of events regarding their particular dwelling
  • To regularly visit tenants to establish and resolve any problems that may arise or have already arisen
  • To work closely with the Client and their representatives in ensuring good relations are maintained with tenants and the expeditious execution of the works
  • To immediately inform the Site Manager of any serious problems arising
  • To contribute to a report every week for the Site of events occurring / affecting tenants.  This report is to include: All complaints or problems encountered and how they have been remedied, confidential notes on addresses where issues may occur
  • To deal with customer complaints in accordance with the QA Procedure
  • To attend site meetings / team meetings or any meetings relevant to site
  • To provide Handover Packs and instruct on new installations
  • Advise Site Manager directly and immediately of any situations that have, or are likely to, cause conflict with tenants
  • Be responsible for your safety and others around you, including public protection
  • Make every effort to attend all mandatory courses related to your role
  • Comply with all the roles and responsibilities as set out within the SHEQ management system

Contract Administrator

Equans is recruiting for a Contract Administrator to be based in Avondale House, Bellshill. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

What will you deliver? 

  • Answering telephone calls, communicating with Engineers, Customers, suppliers and sub-contractors as and when required
  • Assigning work to soft services providers to ensure all consumables, waste, window cleaning, Pest Control, contractual obligations are met fully
  • Collating meter readings, chasing engineers for completion, and associated reporting
  • Daily reactive reporting to the client
  • Assigning subcontractor reactive work orders to the relevant subcontractor
  • Ensuring Sub-contractor Planner is accurately maintained at all times
  • Completion of the monthly client performance dashboard report
  • Raising Purchase Orders and receipting invoices with meticulous attention to detail
  • Problem solving – assisting with operational problems and finding a resolution through CAFM systems, Coupa, SAP, Egencia etc
  • Assisting the Account Manager with all aspects of the operation including but not limited to booking travel, organising meetings, completing Spreadsheets and writing performance reports
  • Proficient IT skills; with the ability to use various computer packages proficiently, including, SAP, Planon, Coupa, Word and Excel.(Training on SAP/Planon & Coupa).  Also accessing and updating Customers Portals
  • Other administrative duties as required to support business needs

Payroll Administrator

EQUANS are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to be based at Quorum Business Park. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £24,500 - £26,500 per annum dependant upon skills and experience as well as benefits package.

You will maintain effective procedures and processes to ensure accuracy of salaries, statutory payments and reporting in line with agreed SLAs.

    • Operate in line with payroll and pension procedures and processes including: Timesheet input, Process payroll cycle, Input pension amendments and process auto enrolment, Pay and pension enquiries, Absence Administration, Statutory and Voluntary deductions from pay, Statutory payments, Loading of Interface files, Liaise with HR as appropriate, Tax code changes, P45, RTI submissions, Annual pension returns, Pension reconciliation and upload to providers portals.
    • Ensure the requisite transactions are processed in the pension scheme.
    • Complete payroll accounting entries and prepare and scrutinise the payroll journals.
    • Prepare, check and load the interface files.
    • Have a good working knowledge of payroll and pension processes, legislation and compliance requirements.
    • Ensure all process documentation/operating procedures are up to date.
    • Liaison with HR as required and support the Payroll Team.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement liaising productively with the Continuous Improvement team.
    • Encourage the team to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Deliver agreed improvement initiatives as and when required.
    • Provide high standards of customer service, consistency with service levels agreements and operational compliance.

Planner

EQUANS are recruiting for a Planner to be based in Oldham. This is a 6-month FTC full-time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview

The role of the planner is to support the contract supervisors by scheduling and planning the work for a team of multi-disciplined operatives/ engineers, ensuring the operatives / engineers are fully utilised, jobs are closed in a timely manner and appointments are booked in for any works not completed at first visit.

Key Accountabilities

Carry out various tasks to a high standard as instructed, including but not limited to:

  • Scheduling appointments through Equans IT system currently Castleton Maintain
  • Ensuring the operative / engineer is fully utilized throughout the day
  • Arranging follow on appointments for any jobs not completed on first visit.
  • Closing jobs in the system complete or cancelled as the day unfolds.
  • Clear critical numbers report daily
  • Communication with operatives / Engineers on site
  • Written and verbal communication with MCC / Northwards
  • Dealing with the repairs chase mailbox
  • Customer Satisfaction surveys
  • Work in any workstream as required
  • Any administration task to support the planning role

Assist with the adherence to the Company quality standards including:

Site Administrator

EQUANS is looking for a Site Administrator to join our team! Your head office base is Hatfield, your time will be split between Hatfield and our two sites located at Camden and Barnett.  You will be required to drive in between site and the office, therefor we cover expenses for travel to sites.

We are looking for someone with administration experience working in a construction environment. You will be able to pick up new systems quickly with training provided.

In return we offer a full time permanent position, with a salary between £26,000 - £28,000 depending on your skills and experience.
