Equans is looking for multiple Security Supervisors to join our team, working on the Southern Water contracts in Hardham West Sussex RH20 1LA, on a permanent basis. This role involves working 42 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary of £29.484 per annum, along with an attractive benefits package. We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Supervisor to join our team, this crucial role involves maintaining high standards and ensuring the smooth operation for our facilities,  you will manage our team of Security Officers .  And will be responsible for monitoring and controlling access, conducting regular patrols (up to 10 km), responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment, deterring criminal activities, and preventing unauthorized access.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily security operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in line with protocols.
  • Conduct security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Act as the main point of contact for law enforcement, emergency services, and other stakeholders during incidents.
  • Train security personnel on protocols, emergency procedures, and best practices to maintain readiness.
  • Lead security operations, ensuring only authorised personnel access the site.
  • Respond swiftly to security incidents and emergencies, ensuring effective resolution.
  • Experience with access control and patrolling systems ie “redetrack” and other security technology,
  • Maintain situational awareness, addressing on-site security challenges proactively.
  • De-escalate conflicts professionally, resolving confrontational situations calmly.
  • Ensure compliance with security and safety protocols at all times.
  • Monitor and control access to the site, ensuring only authorised personnel are granted entry.
  • Operate and monitor security systems and access control software to detect potential risks.
  • Conduct regular foot patrols over varying terrain, covering distances of over 10 km per shift.
  • Communicate with members of the public as required, ensuring a courteous and professional approach.

Requirements:

  • A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) License.
  • Proven experience in a security role or a related field.
  • Managing a security team
  • First Aid Certification.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Experience with access control systems and other security technology.
  • Clear criminal background check.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts calmly and effectively.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern, including nights and weekends.
  • Basic computer literacy for logging reports and accessing security systems.
  • Advanced experience and comprehensive reporting.
  • The Security Supervisor should consistently seek improvements in security
  • processes and team efficiency.
  • Flexibility is required to manage security operations during non-standard hours, including nights and weekends.

Equans is looking for a Security Officer to join our team in Roche Diagnostics, Gothards Green Way, Goddards Green, BN6 9ZJ on a 0 hour contract basis. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

As a Security Officer, you will form part of a fully integrated guarding service which is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, ensuring that the service provided is professional, timely and in keeping with all contractual requirements. The aim of the service is to provide a safe and secure environment for all occupants and buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide support to all buildings associated to the Roche Contract.
  • To Provide Alarm Monitoring duties for the critical areas within in the site.
  • To ensure access control and visitor monitor and booking systems are complied with. 
  • To ensure regular patrols and inspections of the estate in accordance with site instructions; visitors are greeted and relevant security procedures carried out; correct adherence to all reporting structures and maintaining of correct protocol.  

Requirements

  • Hold an SIA Licence (essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Overview:

The Security Mobile Patrol Officer is responsible for providing mobile security services across various sites
around the Otterbourne an Testwood Southern Water sites under the company’s control. This role involves patrolling, responding to incidents, key holding, visitor and vehicle management. The officer will be required to travel between different company contracts to provide a seamless and professional service. The role demands a flexible and proactive approach to security operations while ensuring the safety and security of all locations, assets, and personnel. The role involves physically patrolling demands in varying environments. Long periods of driving and walking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mobile Patrols: Conduct regular mobile patrols to ensure the safety and security of all sites. This involves monitoring for any security breaches, suspicious activities, or maintenance issues.
  • Incident Response: respond to alarms, security breaches or emergency situations, following established procedures to mitigate risks and prevent escalation.
  • Call-Out Response: Be available for out-of-hours call-outs, responding to emergencies or security incidents at any time.
  • Covering Security Positions: Provide temporary cover for other security roles as needed, ensuring continuous and effective security coverage across all sites without disruption.
  • Key Holding: Manage key holding duties, including unlocking and securing premises and responding to out-of-hours call-outs.
  • Site Coverage: Provide coverage at various sites, ensuring that security standards are maintained across locations.
  • Transportation: Safely transport items, documents or individuals between sites, following all company protocols and ensuring secure handling of sensitive materials.

Requirements:

  • Full clean driving licence held for 2 years minimum
  • SIA Door Supervision Licence or SIA Security Guard Licence
  • Physical fitness
  • Ability to work flexibly and enthusiastically
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Experience with security systems and communication tools
  • Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions and drive to remote locations
  • Physical fitness suitable for mobile patrols and covering security posts
  • Attention to detail

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in mobile patrol or response security roles
  • First Aid Trained, Fire Safety Trained, any other relevant security related training / skills
  • Experience with working in high-security environments

Security Officer (Mobile Patrol)

Equans is looking for a Security Officer (Mobile Patrol) to join our team in Municipal Offices, Town Hall Square, Grimsby, DN31 1HU on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £22,308.00 per annum and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

EQUANS are recruiting for a Security Officer to be based in the University of Essex, Colchester, CO4 3ZU. This is a permanent full-time role working 42 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £28,500 per annum and benefits package.

Overview:

The Security officer/Concierge is responsible for security integrity of a student accommodation campus, with 1,260 residents. To guard, patrol and protect, buildings, liaising with the University’s in-house security team. To act as main front of house, welcoming and liaising with the residents, with the goal of delivering a memorable experience to all residents and visitors.

What will you deliver?

  • To deliver all aspects of security whilst providing a safe and secure environment for the student residents in all 5 accommodation blocks and external areas of The Pastures and operate within scope of site Assignment Instructions.
  • Support Reception and Helpdesk for accommodation, ensuring that every situation is handled in a courteous and professional manner and that all students and visitors are appropriately attended to.
  • Support the distribution of all post and packages, using the systems and software provided as and when required.

Essential Requirements:

  • You must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years with a 5-year work history unless you have been in education.

• Training in security protocols and emergency response procedures

Requirements:

  • A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) License.
  • Proven experience in a security role or a related field.
  • First Aid Certification.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Experience with access control and patrolling systems ie “redetrack” and other security technology, 
  • Clear criminal background check.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts calmly and effectively.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern, including nights and weekends.
  • Basic computer literacy for logging reports and accessing security systems.

Security Officer

EQUANS are recruiting for a Security Officer to be based in the University of Essex, Colchester, CO4 3ZU. This is a permanent full-time role working 42 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £29,565 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern: 

4 on 4 off Days and night shifts of 12 hour per shift 7 am - 7 pm / 7pm - 7am

Overview:

The Security officer/Concierge is responsible for security integrity of a student accommodation campus, with 1,260 residents. To guard, patrol and protect, buildings, liaising with the University’s in-house security team. To act as main front of house, welcoming and liaising with the residents, with the goal of delivering a memorable experience to all residents and visitors.

What will you deliver?

  • To deliver all aspects of security whilst providing a safe and secure environment for the student residents in all 5 accommodation blocks and external areas of The Pastures and operate within scope of site Assignment Instructions.
  • Support Reception and Helpdesk for accommodation, ensuring that every situation is handled in a courteous and professional manner and that all students and visitors are appropriately attended to.
  • Support the distribution of all post and packages, using the systems and software provided as and when required.

Essential Requirements:

  • You will be required to pass through a range of referencing and vetting checks.
  • You must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years with a 5-year work history unless you have been in education.
  • A background, qualification, or interest in the delivery of site security and/or customer service will be an advantage.
  • Successful candidates must meet the security requirements before they can be appointed. 
  • Possess a valid SIA License.
