Zero Hour Security Officer

Equans is looking for a Security Officer to join our team in Salford Hospital, M6 8HD on a fixed term basis. This is a casual role on a flexible zero hour contract based on business needs. On offer is an annual salary of £11.70 per hour and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • To provide a high quality and effective Security Service tailored to meet the needs of the individuals who use or work at Salford Royal Hospital/ Tameside General Hospital and delivered by well-trained and motivated staff.
  • Provide a security service that is in accordance with the agreed security FM service specification.
  • Provide a security service provision for all the key stakeholders as per the FM service specification.
  • Security and protection of all Trust staff, visitors, and patients.
  • Familiarise and adhere to the Local Operating Procedures and Assignment Instructions at all times.
  • Carry out the appropriate locking and unlocking procedures on buildings.
  • Regularly patrol the hospital site as a deterrent against theft or vandalism using the electronic checkpoints and report to the Trust in accordance.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Applicants with prior security, law enforcement, or military experience are preferred.
  • Clear DBS standard level clearance.
  • Hold an SIA Licence
  • Full 5 years address history
  • Full 5 years work or education history.

Preferred:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of security procedures and protocols
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
  • Additional training in security or related fields is a plus.
  • Display customer-focused behaviour
  • Demonstrate respect, flexibility, and confidence.
  • Awareness of healthcare environment sensitivities.
  • Making a difference by contributing to the safety and well-being of patients and staff.

Night Security Officer

EQUANS is recruiting for a Night Security Officer to be based in The National Archives, TW9 4DU, This is a permanent full time role working 42 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26,885.00 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern: 

4 on 4 off shift pattern, 19.00-07.00 

Overview:

To form part of a fully integrated guarding service, which is operational 24 hours a day,7 days a week, 365 days a year, ensuring that the service provided is professional, timely and in keeping with all contractual requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • You will be required to pass through a range of referencing and vetting checks.
  • You must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years with a 5-year work history unless you have been in education.
  • A background, qualification, or interest in the delivery of site security and/or customer service will be an advantage.
  • Successful candidates must meet the security requirements before they can be appointed. 
  • Possess a valid SIA License.
