The Project Managers – Mechanical will be part of the team responsible for managing the construction aspects of large projects from inception to completion, within set timescales, to high quality standards and within health and safety guidelines.

What you will deliver?

  • Manage a team to ensure that work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety standards
  • Be an expert and provide guidance and direction to ensure operational excellence
  • Coordinate and control the on-site construction process ensuring the site build progresses in line with plan
  • Develop and agree electrical submission and approval process with the client and design team
  • Support the overall programming and planning of the build
  • Attend site meetings, effectively communicate and provide information for Progress Reports
  • Chair and minute the subcontractor meetings
  • Recording and reporting key metrics to team members and management
  • Operational support including review of procedures, best practices and initiatives

  • Assist in ensuring that work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety standards
  • Assist with co-ordinate and control the on-site construction process ensuring the site build progresses in line with plan
  • Liaise with Statutory Authorities and Local Authorities as directed by the Site Manager in the submission of all Building Regulation cards as required to allow the progress of the project
  • Attend site meetings, effectively communicate and provide information for Progress Reports
  • Chair and minute the subcontractor meetings in the absence of the Site or Project Manager
  • Assist the Site Manager in the management of materials
  • Record keeping (diary, drawing register, H&S, COSHH Assessments, As built drawings, Levels & Foundations records, site H&S file)
  • Assist in ensuring that work is carried out in full conformance with quality environmental and safety requirements

Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer

Equans is looking for a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team covering Hampshire & Isle of Wight on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package. 

As a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be working with our partners, Southern Water on this contract and will be tasked to carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive call outs on a wide variety of Mechanical and Electrical Buildings Services Engineering plant, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner. What will you deliver? 

  • Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with Site task schedules and CAFM

Mobile Building Engineer

EQUANS is looking for a Mobile Building Engineer to join our team in London on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Mobile Supervisor

EQUANS is looking for a Mobile Supervisor to join our team in London on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. 

We are looking for a Mobile Supervisor who will be responsible for leading The Equans team and industry standards within the London MOPAC contract, providing guidance to others on site and technical expertise in plumbing systems and building fabric components.

  • HNC in a relevant engineering subject, or similar recognised qualification
  • An ACOP L8 certificate would be advantageous

Mechanical & Electrical Engineer

Equans is looking for a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to join our team in Kings Yard, Queen Elizabeth Park, London on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 35 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer who will be responsible for the technical performance and maintaining Equans and industry standards within the London MOPAC contract, providing guidance to others on site and technical expertise in mechanical/electrical systems and building fabric components.

What will you deliver?

  • Maintain, install, and operate, mechanical/electrical equipment in line with operational requirements of the sites
  • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety including risk assessment & working safely with equipment
  • Ability to measure, work to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures
  • Repair systems, plant or equipment to the required standards
  • Install, commission & service of plant equipment
  • Diagnose fault-find, debug and commission systems, utilising appropriate technical skills and system knowledge
  • Monitor and assess ongoing machine/ facility performance
  • Confer with other engineers and personnel to implement operating procedures are met, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information to the Helpdesk

  • Experience with installations (desirable)
  • City and Guilds up to Level 3 in Electrical Installations and building structures
  • BS 7671 18th Edition or similar recognised qualification
  • Training in ACOP L8 would be advantageous

Mobile Gas Engineer

EQUANS is looking for a Mobile Gas Engineer to join our team covering 2 sites in Chelsea & Sutton, London on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is competitive salary and benefits package. 

 

What will you deliver? 

  • Ensure all PPM’s is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification
  • Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works
  • Reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made
  • Plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order
  • Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works
  • Complete Method Statements and Risk Assessments and used for all tasks undertaken
  • Undertake mandatory training and skill related training as required by the business

Electrician

Equans is looking for an Electrician to join our team in Kings Yard, Queen Elizabeth Park, London on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

We are looking for an Electrician who will be responsible for the technical performance and maintaining Equans and industry standards within the London MOPAC contract and is part of our front line customer facing team with the responsibility of dealing with high end maintenance work.

What will you deliver?

  • Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
  • Test electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
  • Reassemble and test equipment following repairs
  • Inspect and test system to verify system compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions
  • To carry out all PPM and repairs as necessary
  • Ensure any parts required are clearly and accurately stated
  • Obtain and maintain required certification
  • Ensure that any difficulties encountered on engineering activities are reported to the Engineering Supervisor/Manager
  • Ensure all record keeping functions are completed on a daily basis
  • This is a Mobile role, involving use of a company van, tools & equipment. You must have a full clean UK drivers licence to apply
