Part time Morning Cleaner

Equans is looking for a Part time Morning Cleaner to join our team in Southend Magistrates Court, SS2 6EU , on a permanent basis working 12.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £11.44 per hour and benefits package.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 07:00am - 09:30am 

What will you deliver?

As the on-site Cleaner, you’ll keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety whilst maintaining a professional manner with all members of staff and general public. 

For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

Patient Services Cleaning Team Leader

Equans is looking for a Patient Services Cleaning Team Leader to join our team in Queen Alexandria Hospital, PO6 3LY on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £27,193.95 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern: 

Working every other weekend on a two week shift pattern. The hours for this post are 06:00-14:00. Although flexibility is required to meet the needs of the services to with cover other shifts between the hours of 06:00 - 23:00 as and when required.

What will you deliver?

• Responsibility and supervision of housekeepers and patient services assistants daily. Ensuring full cover is provided regarding duty rosters and allocation of work to ensure effective completion of duties in line with the performance standards.

Part time Afternoon Cleaner

EQUANS is recruiting for a Part Time Afternoon Cleaner in Allens Croft Primary School, B14 6RP. This is a permanent role working 12.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday, 16:00-18:30

What you will deliver?

As a Cleaner you will oversee all aspects of running early morning / evening main cleaning of the premises. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring that your working areas are always within the standards of cleanliness expected by the customers. Maintain a good attendance and timekeeping record at all times.

For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

Who are we looking for?

• Experience within the cleaning/hospitality industry with proven knowledge of housekeeping best practices.
• Good Timekeeping and attendance record.
• An outgoing personality with strong customer service focus.
• Proven experience of delivering a high quality service with an eye for detail, and the ability to communicate those expectations to the rest of the team to achieve the same high standards.
• BICS qualified or similar desirable

Mobile Cleaner & Handy person

Equans is looking for a Mobile Cleaner and Handyperson to join our team in Dartford County & Family Court, DA1 1DX and surrounding areas, Kent, Sussex and Surrey. This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26,000 to £27,000 depending on skills and experience and benefits package,

Shift Pattern: 

Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

What will you deliver?

The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive tasks on a wide variety of surfaces, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and Equans processes and procedures. This includes Legionella control and monitoring activities.

Activities will include but not limited to –

• Inspect/repair/clean floors, walls, ceilings and roofs
• Inspect/repair/clean drainage and gully systems
• Inspect/repair/clean doors (Inc. Fire Doors), windows and associated furniture.
• Painting, re-decorating and hanging of pictures/signed/notices
• Carry out Ad-Hoc activities supporting Equans and Client team including Moves/Changes

In order to meet our customers requirements, the post holder must go through Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). This is a form of Security Clearance set out by the Government which goes through several checks.

• Employment History (past 3 years): Any gaps will require HMRC statements for the period in question.
• Right to Work Status in the UK: Citizenship or valid share code.
• Unspent Criminal Record: Disclosure of any unspent convictions.
• Significant Periods Abroad: Any periods of 6+ months spent abroad in the past 3 years.
