We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Painter & Decorator to join our maintenance team at Addenbrooke’s Treatment Centre in Cambridge. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week from 08.00 to 17.00, Monday to Friday.
The role:
- Reporting to the Fabric Supervisor
- To deliver fabric and painting planned and reactive maintenance and lifecycle works
- To work within a safe system of work and permit-to-work system
- To cover for other colleagues as required
- To carry out overtime as required
- Working 40 hours per week from 08.00 to 17.00, Monday to Friday with participation in the on call rota
The person:
- Experience working in a multi-skilled maintenance environment; desirable to have a painting and decorating qualification
- Fire door maintenance experience desirable
- Ideally have had experience working alongside trade operatives from electrical / mechanical disciplines in a healthcare environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- IT literate, and ambition for personal development
- Able to work on own initiative as well as within a team with a proactive, flexible, can-do attitude.
