Equans is looking for a Learning Management System Lead to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

Our Learning Management System is at the heart of the training and development offering for our 18,000 employees. As well as being a hub for employees to access all of our learning and development activities, the LMS is the key source of information that enables us to evidence training compliance, completion and uptake.
The LMS gives our users access to all of our digital e-Learning and coordinates attendance on Face-to-Face courses.
In this role you will ensure the best possible digital learning experience for our end users. You will also ensure that managers and reporting lines are able to access to full and accurate information relating to their team’s learning.
As an essential member of the Learning and Development team, you will have knowledge of managing an LMS effectively, ensuring that users are able to access learning interventions and that administrators and managers are able to record training that has taken place. As a core part of our L&D offering, you will be a key factor in ensuring that the LMS is up to date and fit for purpose.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the integration of the Learning Management System with other existing 3rd Party platforms. These includes systems that support features such as content delivery, finance reporting and user/data reporting.
What will you deliver?
- Accountable for ensuring that employee data held in the LMS is complete, accurate and up to date
- Liaise with the HR Data Systems team to ensure that the information. shared between the two systems is up to date and complete
- Responsible for problem solving issues that arise between records in the HR Data system and the LMS
- Our Learning Management system is subject to quarterly technical updates. The post-holder will be responsible for reviewing, verifying and managing the updates to ensure that the system continues to run effectively and takes advantage of new functionality and improvements
- Responsible for managing the ongoing configuration of the system and ensuring that the service we provide is up to date
- Responsible for ensuring access to data, through permissions and security preferences that are integrated in the system. Additionally the post-holder will be expected to manage and maintain existing system preferences such as system settings, learning settings, approval processes etc
- Responsible for managing licences for users for the system. This includes ensuring that new learners are given access to the LMS from the start of their time with the business. It also includes ensuring the removal of users who leave the company
- Ensure that communication between the LMS and our existing intranet is up to date, relevant and that integration between the LMS and Intranet is fully functional
- Responsible for ensuring that staff who use the LMS, such as administrators and managers have up to date knowledge and training on the elements of the course that they need to use. This will include training sessions both face to face and remote, as well as the production of supporting literature such as user guides, PDF documents, aide memoirs etc
- Compile process documents to ensure that knowledge on how to use and administer the LMS is shared amongst all relevant employees
- Be the single point of contact for system users such as administrators, report owners and content designers
- Be the second line of support for general queries fed in to the UK Academy team. Support the academy team by resolving issues and liaising with users where a problem has been identified
- Log and record stakeholder feedback and evaluate any issues that are raised. Collate and act on any feedback that is received, incorporating their findings into ongoing system development and improvement
- Consult with members of the Learning and Talent Development team on product launches, campaigns and learning interventions in order to provide required LMS support to these events

Who are we looking for?
- Experience of working with a Learning Management System (knowledge of Cornerstone would be an advantage
- Experience of working in a Learning & Development/training delivery environment
- Evidence of contributing to digital tools such as intranet and SharePoint sites
- Able to demonstrate a creative approach to problem solving
- Experienced in project monitoring and data delivery
