EQUANS is looking for a Business Support Assistant to join our team in Grimsby. This is a full timer permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week plus occasional overtime. We offer a salary of up to £23,400 plus benefits package.
Equans services Limited is North East Lincolnshire Council’s long term Regeneration Partner delivery a number of services. This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly regarded Development Service supporting Planning.
What will you deliver?
- To undertake a number of administrative tasks such as:
- Inputting information into the Planning database.
- Sending out communication to customers.
- Responding to general telephone enquiries.
- Processing planning appeal requests.
- Producing powerpoint presentations
- Collating figures for government statistics and KPI’s
- Assisting in the preparation of Planning Committee agendas and minutes.
- Invoicing and preparation of purchase orders

Who are we looking for?
- Knowledge of planning
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment.
- Experience of general administration
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Excellent IT skills
- Experience with contributing towards the team effort, encourage team spirit and provide assistance to others
