Equans is looking for a Deputy Portering Team Leader to join our team in Queen Alexandria Hospital, PO6 3LY on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £24,738.00 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern: 

Days of the Week: Sunday to Saturday (rotating schedule)

Shift Times: Night Shifts: 18:00 – 06:00 Day Shifts: 06:00 – 18:00 Morning Shifts: 06:00 – 14:00

What will you deliver?

  • To assist in supervising and controlling a team of Portering staff providing both ad hoc and scheduled services to the Trust. Ensuring full coverage of rosters and effective completion of duties in line with performance standards. 
  • To provide a comprehensive service managing and logging data via the performance systems, accessing incoming job requests and allocating to porters according to performance requirements, location and other criteria.   
  • To provide high quality interface with Trust, maintaining sensitivity to needs of ward/department managers and staff, and providing information as necessary in relation to Portering services, in liaison with the Portering Team leader and management.
