Multi Trade Engineer – Sustainable FM
Location: Coca-Cola, Sidcup
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

Are you an experienced Multi Trade Engineer with a passion for sustainable facilities management? We are seeking a hands-on and highly skilled engineer to join our dynamic team at Coca-Cola Sidcup. As a Multi Trade Engineer, you’ll be playing a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of M&E services, providing maintenance support, and overseeing various technical tasks to deliver exceptional facilities management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities in line with contract requirements, SLA, and KPI targets.
  • Provide hands-on support for mechanical and electrical systems, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and more.
  • Supervise specialist sub-contractors and identify opportunities for self-delivery of maintenance services.
  • Ensure compliance with water hygiene standards (L8 checks) and other statutory obligations.
  • Assist with small project management, cost planning, and additional works as required.
  • Maintain positive relationships with the client, EQUANS colleagues, and suppliers, while delivering first-class service.
  • Work proactively with the Site Facilities Manager to continuously improve service delivery and reduce operational costs.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Essential: Strong experience in plumbing and a solid understanding of M&E services.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of electrical safety, water hygiene (L8), carpentry, and other trade qualifications.
  • Ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
  • Strong health & safety awareness and a commitment to ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • Physically fit and able to undertake a wide range of tasks, including reactive repairs and routine maintenance.
