Equans is looking for a Site Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Wakefield on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £39,000 – £42,000 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience and benefits package.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday 0800 – 1630.
What will you deliver?
- Respond to reactive breakdowns and complete PPM tasks as per appointment and competency
- Conduct small electrical installations or repairs as needed
- Perform annual and monthly emergency lighting checks
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly PPM checks
- Take regular meter readings
- Maintain plant rooms, storerooms, and other work areas, ensuring they are tidy and well-organized
- Conduct water hygiene (L8) checks
- Identify and address safety hazards
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure control of permits and supervise work
- Monitor and report stock levels and spares to the Electrical Supervisor
- Manage deliveries of materials and items
- Ensure that all maintenance and project records are accurate and up to date
