Mobile Caretaker

Equans is looking for a Mobile caretaker to join our team working in School sites in the Birmingham Area. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £24,000 per annum and benefits package.  

 
Shift times 

Working hours can start from 06:00 till 14:00hrs or 11:00hrs till 19:00hrs depending on where needed operationally.

May need to cover a split shift on primary school sites which would be 06:00hrs till 10:00hrs and then 14:00hrs – 18:00hrs 

 A full clean driving licence (valid within the UK) is essential.

 
What will you deliver? 

Responsible for the delivery of caretaking/cleaning services for designated schools within the Birmingham Schools portfolio, together with establishing a close working relationship with the school and community groups. Ensure that all services are provided to a consistently high standard in accordance with the requirements of the Project Agreement.

Who are we looking for? 

• Relevant continuous working experience of providing FM services including cleaning and basic maintenance of buildings and associated plant and systems. (Essential)
• Experience of producing risk assessments & method statements. (Essential)
• Experience of cleaning and caretaking management within an educational environment.(Desirable)
