Equans is looking for a CAFM Manager to join our team in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.

This role is essential to ensuring the contract is maintained in line with all SLA’s and PFI contractual requirements. Ensures that all PPM work is planned, assigned and closed out correctly on the CAFM system (Maximo), and that all corrective work is also raised, assigned and closed out correctly and within SLA.

The post holder will manage the CAFM team and systems throughout the QEH contract. Generating monthly PPMs and distributing to the Workflow Scheduler for internal PPMs, and via the Technical Team for subcontractor PPMs. To continually monitor the completed and open PPMs to maintain contractual compliance.

What will you deliver?

  • Daily review of static PPM data to ensure all PPMs are correct and generating as expected
  • Setting up new starters with PDAs, including training
  • PDA repairs, including SIM card issues
  • Adding labour codes correctly for new starters / contractors (so time can be booked to work orders without errors, allowing data to flow through to SAP)
  • Any PPM changes to be updated on Maximo
  • Any changes to locations updated on Maximo (variations/small works, etc)
  • Weekly reports in preparation for operational meeting
  • Daily report to monitor open & upcoming PPM Work orders covering current month; passed to Schedulers to review
  • Statutory PPM performance reports provided to SPV upon request
  • Quarterly PPM updates to SPV
  • Annual maintenance plans to SPV
  • 5 Year maintenance plans to SPV
  • Providing Labour utilisation reports
  • Management of labour approval process
  • Management of Subcontractor PPMs from distribution via the technical team to closure
  • Daily review of labour errors, ‘fixing’ errors with actuals/labour records as required
  • Updating site Supervisor Codes to accurately reflect Contractor / Technical Lead
  • Support in driving down open workflow
  • Generation of monthly PPM work orders; distributing to Workflow Schedulers for adding to live plans; printing Subcontractor work orders for Technical Leads
  • Monitoring & Escalation of open PPM Work Orders to Technical Leads
  • Cover for Scheduler when needed e.g. annual leave, training etc
  • Project work – Movilizer PDA training & rollout, Maximo 7.6 Upgrade, Maximo updates with CAFM Support Manager

Who are we looking for?

  • Presentation and speaking skills are essential
  • Knowledge of excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Previous experience of managing/supervising a team
  • Knowledge of CAFM systems with a preference for Maximo
  • Previous healthcare experience would be an advantage but not essential
  • Previous healthcare experience would be an advantage but not essential
  • Managing the CAFM team and requirements across multiple locations/buildings

This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
