EQUANS is looking for a Head of HRIS & Data to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT and HR professional to create and implement change within the team.

The post holder will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the UKBU’s HRIS, including related strategy, policies and procedures. Will work with user groups in the HR organisation to define information needs and sources; and with Central IT to develop plans for proposed systems, including development and maintenance budgets. Will monitor implementation and operation of approved systems and supervise input of data and ensure data integrity along with supervising the preparation of data reports. Will advise on design and utilisation of information systems. Will ensure alignment of HRIS with HR strategic guidelines and processes, where applicable by steering the progress and development of HRIS workflow processes and tools.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of Managing HRIS technology: including software and technology that supports HR processes, and be familiar with HRIS features. Strong management experience and be able to lead the HRIS and Data team: leading a team of professionals who maintain HR data and generate reports and analytics to help the company make informed decisions.

The role is suitable for requires travel to London and/or Newcastle twice a month.

 

What will you deliver?

 

  • Create a HRIS strategy which helps to future proof the business – considering new technologies such as AI, whilst ensuring that we remain in line with the future vision for Equans UK and Group
  • Present options around future HRIS systems and how we best manage and utilise our data
  • Project managing any changes in HR systems – owning and creating the project plan through to completion, facilitating the change, managing risks and progress, creating and delivering any communications channels and/or change vehicles and roll out training
  • Be a technical expert on HRIS systems and people data – conducting deep analysis, identifying opportunities and risks
  • Work alongside key stakeholders such as Shared Services Centres, IT and Operational HR/Managers to ensure an effective HRIS which meets the requirements of the business
  • Line manage a team of 2/3 employees within the data and HRIS teams
  • Organise and coordinate reports and information gathering
  • Check consistency and reliability of data in cooperation with own network (HR, Finance, etc.), proposes corrective actions.  Ensuring that all decisions taken are in line with the HRIS Strategy
  • Identify the most appropriate KPIs such as HR performance and related costs
  • Assist the HR Function and operational divisions in defining their needs in terms of new systems or system up-grades with feasibility studies for potential solutions

Who are we looking for?

 

  • CIPD qualified & preferably Chartered Member
  • Proven experience with multiple HRIS including SAP, SuccessFactors
  • Experience of developing and using PowerBi
  • Experience working within a HR department
  • Experience of developing HRIS strategies
  • Line Management experience including completion of employee lifecycle activities
  • Strong knowledge of People metrics, KPIs, and reporting best practices
  • Strong configuration experience in updating business processes, absence plans, compensation, and performance templates and so forth
  • Report writing experience, able to create sophisticated reports and calculated fields and work with dashboards
  • Project Management experience a necessity including leading on large internal projects
  • Proven ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
