Equans is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team in Birmingham working in partnership with Birmingham City Council on void properties across the borough. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package.

The Assist site manager will report to site manager the progress against programme. Assist with maintenance of company driven Health & Safety procedures. (Use PPE, Site inductions, Management of Risk assessments, work permits, scaffold/lifting equipment, in house audits, site housekeeping.

What will you deliver?

  • Assist with adherence to company quality standards (management of defects, compliance with speculation, compliance with materials)
  • Liaison with client, consultants, contract administrator, head office ect
  • Take responsibility of security, opening and closing of the site, material coordination and any reasonable requests from management
  • Assist management of a designated project, to maximise company profitability and client satisfaction. Adhere to Company quality standards
  • Communicate between head office, site manager and the employees to ensure targets are being met and employees are happy with what their next/current tasks are

Who are we looking for?

  • Relevant assistants site management experience
  • Previous trades experience
  • Up to date and relevant industry knowledge.
  • Understanding of local government
  • Experience of Partnerships arrangements
  • Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  • Clean and valid UK driving license.
  • Compliant in MS office applications
