EQUANS are recruiting for an Planned Maintenance Electrician to be based at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £34,000 to £36,000 per annum. In addition you will receive an excellent benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Support the estates management in providing a 24 hour maintenance service within the hospital
  • Carry out PPM’s and remedials on various electrical and mechanical hospital equipment such as but not limited to RCD’s, RCBO, AHU’s, Emergency Lighting, Pumps and Motors.
  • Assist other trades where required. 
  • Any other duties required by site management
  • May need to work out of hours.

Who are we looking for?

  • Hold at least one of the following: City & Guilds 236 Parts A & B, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance, B Tech Level 3 Electrical Apprenticeship or 17th / 18th Edition
  • Due to the nature of the contract, you must have the ability to pass a DBS.
