Plumber

Equans is looking for a Plumber to join our team in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £31,000 – £35,000, dependent upon skills and experience plus benefits package.

What will you deliver? 

• Carry out planned preventable maintenance (PPM) on plumbing and hot water
• Including plant and equipment in accordance with the PPM programme
• Respond in a timely manner to breakdown requests
• Assist with installation works involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works
• Safely operate all types of access equipment, hand and power tools in accordance with health & safety
• This is a mobile role, a company van will be provided. Therefore, you MUST be able to drive & have a full clean UK driving licence

Who are we looking for? 

 

• NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Plumbing and Heating / Recognised apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline
• Legionella awareness
• Previously worked & experience within a maintenance environment, ideally Healthcare or Education
• Experience working on commercial plumbing and plant
• Prepared to work out of hours as necessary
• Prepared to travel to other sites within the Company
• Possess a current valid driving licence
