Procurement Support

EQUANS is looking for a Procurement Support to join our team based in Quorum Business Park, Newcastle on a temporary basis (8 months FTC). This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £11.44ph - £12ph and benefits package. 

 

As a Procurement Support Team Member, you will be responsible for providing front line, holistic procurement system support across both users and suppliers which will promote an effective procure to pay service across the business. You will have overall accountability for the delivery of day to day back-office supplier administration and query management of the 3rd party procurement software; collectively regarded as master data management (MDM).You will drive simplification and standardisation across our processes to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the service. You will champion the functional vision, mission, and ambition and ‘live’ the SSC values.

As a member of our Shared Services team, you will have the ability to work flexibly from our brand-new office space at the Quorum Business Park for 2 days each week, with 3 days at home. What will you deliver? 

  • Resolution of queries from within the 3rd party procurement software or SAP interface.
  • Supplier on-boarding / off-boarding and full systems master data management – working with central procurement.
  • Catalogue maintenance and administration.
  • Support Commercial Reward programme.
  • Monthly savings administration for central procurement.
  • Super user status of current and future 3rd party procurement software to support the wider business users.
  • 3rd party procurement software to SAP interface and continuity management (i.e., GR/PO/IR issues).
  • Accountable for day-to-day performance across your work streams in line with agreed SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
  • Analytics support and / opportunity analysis across MDM – proactive working.
  • This role is essential to manage the full onboarding process as well as provide support to the wider team.
  • The post holder will undertake interactions with various stakeholders in the Equans UK business, along with various preferred suppliers to ensure that issues are resolved, and support is provided promptly.

Social Impact Bid Manager

Equans is looking for a Social Impact Bid Manager to join the team in London on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

The role involves working with the bid team and all involved stakeholders to develop commitments that will support the bid proposition in line with the cost model. The Social Impact Bid Manager will be responsible for speaking to external companies, partners, and other 3rd party organizations that can support the bid offering, develop social impact plans for bids, attending storyboarding workshops with clients and bid teams, write bid responses around social impact.

What will you deliver?

  • Working with the bid team and all involved stakeholders to develop commitments that will support the bid proposition in line with the cost model
  • Speaking to external companies, partners, and other 3rd party organisations that can support the bid offering
  • Attending storyboarding workshops, reviewing written documentation, and attending review meetings as required by the bid team
  • Being the main contact for the bid team and Head of Social Impact on all bids
  • Using the Social Value Model, TOMs Framework, PPN06/20, and all other social value legislation/requirements in developing the offering in bids
  • Carrying out research to ensure full understanding of social value challenges, opportunities, and policies relating to the opportunity
  • Attending internal and external bid meetings, including presenting on social value and any site visits
  • Having regular meetings with the bid team to share information and ensure the social value bid pipeline is kept up to date
  • Keeping up to date with external trends and upcoming changes in legislation
  • Utilising the Community Insight Tool and carrying out research on communities that are focused on in the bid proposition
  • Identifying contract deliverables and KPIs
  • Reviewing bids to identify the social value resource required to deliver mobilization and contract
  • Working with the mobilisation team, utilising the bid tender documentation, to create the social value section of the mobilisation plan
  • Keeping up to date with case studies and best practice across Equans that will support bid deliverables
  • Ensuring social impact work is undertaken to internal/external standards and guidelines
  • Leading by example in following and actively promoting the company's Fundamentals, IMPACT Manifesto, values, and objectives
  • Identifying local challenges and opportunities that complement the Social Value Framework of employability and skills; community outreach; supply chain and spend
  • Personalising the approach to target specific issues in the communities where the company works
  • Liaising with the Head of Social Impact to remain up to date with internal IMPACT Manifesto targets and activity and share updates on bid development
  • Attending social value networking events with different organisations that the company partners with to share externally at those events what Equans does in terms of Social Value
  • Support as and when required the Head of Social Impact on other activity within Sustainable FM

Who are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in a social value role within the construction, energy sector, FM or related industries
  • Have an in-depth understanding and be confident in using the Social Value Model and TOMs Framework
  • Understand the Social Value Act, PPN06/21 and all other legislation/ requirements
  • Experience of using the Community Insight Tool
  • Previous experience within CSR/Community regeneration including engaging with communities and partnerships
  • Previous experience in bidding social impact

Marketing and Communications Assistant

EQUANS is recruiting for a Marketing and Communications Assistant to be based in Wath upon Dearne, Rotherham.

This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company car and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

Marketing

  • Assist with researching, planning and delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Research and produce relevant case studies for the region

Brand, Design and Digital

  • Create and edit video content for internal and external use
  • Design and amend templates for a wide range of documents, including marketing materials, newsletters, invites, posters, adverts, presentations etc
  • Liaise with design and print agencies when required
  • Provide advice and guidance on company branding/logos - act as a ‘brand guardian’
  • Management of merchandise stock

Awards

  • Research relevant awards to create and maintain an annual calendar of awards
  • Assist with researching and writing award submissions

Events

  • Research relevant events and exhibitions to create and maintain an annual calendar of events
  • Book and coordinate events/exhibitions
  • Manage booking of events materials
  • Assist with planning and coordination of site events, e.g., sod-cuttings, completion celebrations
  • Attend events, conferences and seminars that are of benefit to Equans

Public relations/media/external communications

  • Act as comms lead for a portfolio of projects, liaising regularly with clients and colleagues
  • Identify PR opportunities, create and deliver effective PR plans, research, and write press releases
  • Identify and create content for social media channels and website
  • Assist with responding to media enquiries
  • Book photographers and manage photo library

Internal Communications

  • Creation of staff newsletters
  • Creation of content for internal communication channels and campaigns

Other Duties

  • Ad hoc photography
  • Manage invoices for the team and produce expenditure reports
  • Travel to and from sites and other locations across the UK as determined by the role

Essential

  • Degree, apprenticeship, or other similar qualification in a marketing, communications, PR or related subject, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience of working in a marketing and communications environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Office 365
  • Full driving licence

  • Creative and able to suggest ideas

Desirable
