Security ARC Operator

Equans is looking for a Security ARC Operator  to join our team in National Operations Centre Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire ST4 1AY on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 42 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26,280.07 per annually  and benefits package.

Shift Pattern: 24/7 shift pattern - 4 days 0700-1900, 4 off, 4 nights 1900-0700, 4 off 

What will you deliver?

Managing site alarm activations, including CCTV verification and to facilitate appropriate escalation.  When required, respond appropriately to requests through the Facilities Management Helpdesk and QSE Incident Reporting Hotline.

Who are we looking for?

  • Previous experience within a Control Room, Service Desk or other high call volume environment or experience of working within a customer focused environment.
  • Maths and English GCSE Grade C and above
  • An excellent working knowledge of IT. Must have experience with the Microsoft Office 365 package including MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel & Word. 
  • Experience of contributing to incident management /command and control operations.
  • Previous security or service desk experience and experience / training in fire safety and first aid.
  • Previous CCTV & access control knowledge. An understanding of CCTV operations and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, including high standards of written and spoken English. Ability to maintain accurate incident logs and gather evidential information
  • SIA licensed for Public Space Surveillance (PSS CCTV operations) or willingness to be trained to achieve SIA licence requirements

Security Officer

EQUANS are recruiting for a Night Security Officer to be based at West Burton A, DN22 9BL on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 42 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26,205.12 and benefits package.

Shift times:

3 Nights On 3 Off - rotating 12 hour shifts

Start 18:00pm Finish 06:00am

What you will deliver:

It is a physical role requiring the applicant to conduct patrols by foot and vehicle. You should make concise, verbal and written reports and be able to use MS Office applications and operate modern intruder detection and access systems.

What will you deliver?

  • Protect the sites property and employees against loss or damage caused by fire, theft, flood or accident.
  • Ensure that only authorised persons are granted site access.
  • Patrolling by foot or vehicle as directed by the Team Leader.
  • Reporting suspicious persons, vehicles or objects.
  • Monitoring CCTV in accordance with LOP’s, AI’s and ICO guidelines.
  • To provide First Aid when called upon.
  • Undertaking other duties as required, these may be outside your normal duties but will be required to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the business.
  • To act with integrity, reliability, respect and diplomacy at all times.
