CCTV Control Room Operator
Equans is looking for a Security ARC Operator to join our team in National Operations Centre Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire ST4 1AY on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 42 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26,280.07 per annually and benefits package.
Shift Pattern: 24/7 shift pattern - 4 days 0700-1900, 4 off, 4 nights 1900-0700, 4 off
What will you deliver?
Managing site alarm activations, including CCTV verification and to facilitate appropriate escalation. When required, respond appropriately to requests through the Facilities Management Helpdesk and QSE Incident Reporting Hotline.

Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience within a Control Room, Service Desk or other high call volume environment or experience of working within a customer focused environment.
- Maths and English GCSE Grade C and above
- An excellent working knowledge of IT. Must have experience with the Microsoft Office 365 package including MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel & Word.
- Experience of contributing to incident management /command and control operations.
- Previous security or service desk experience and experience / training in fire safety and first aid.
- Previous CCTV & access control knowledge. An understanding of CCTV operations and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, including high standards of written and spoken English. Ability to maintain accurate incident logs and gather evidential information
- SIA licensed for Public Space Surveillance (PSS CCTV operations) or willingness to be trained to achieve SIA licence requirements

Car Park Officer
EQUANS is recruiting for a Car Park Officer to be based in Burnley General Hospital, BB10 2PQ. This is a permanent role working 42 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary per annum and benefits package.

What you will deliver.
To ensure the efficient and safe operation of the car park, maintain order, and enforce parking regulations.
Key Responsibilities include:
Parking Enforcement:
o Patrol the car park regularly to identify and address any parking violations.
o Issue parking tickets to vehicles that are illegally parked or have expired permits.
o Monitor parking meters and ensure that fees are paid.
o Respond to complaints and inquiries from car park users.
Customer Service:
o Provide assistance to car park users, including directing them to available parking spaces.
o Answer questions about parking regulations and fees.
o Resolve disputes and conflicts in a professional and courteous manner.
Security:
o Monitor the car park for suspicious activity and report any incidents to security personnel.
Maintenance:
o Report any damage to parking equipment or infrastructure.
o Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
For this role you must undergo a DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

EQUANS are recruiting for a Security Receptionist to be based in Becket House, SE1 7EU. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £30,847.79 per annum and benefits package.

What will you deliver?
• Greet visitors in a professional courteous and friendly manner, and stand up to meet and greet and ensure all related queries are dealt with in a professional manner
• Ensure the Reception Lobby area is kept clean and tidy at all times and contact the cleaning team if support is required, ensure a ‘don’t walk by’ mentality is observed at all times
• To answer the telephone in the agreed standard and follow the telephone technique standard when talking on the phone
• Ensure all requests for support such as photocopying, printing or sending emails are actioned promptly and efficiently
• To support the Reception Supervisor in producing any reports that are required for the business or client
• At all times abide by any reasonable instructions from your supervisor or the Security Solutions Management Team
• Ensure all requests for building access from different tenants are communicated accordingly to your supervisor
• Collaborate with other security officers for effective protection and coverage
• Patrol property on foot, securing personnel, assets, buildings, gates, and fence perimeter are secure
• Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry, restraining trespassers, and direct heavy traffic during start and end of business hours
• Ensure a safe environment through a team effort of diligent active patrol, strict access control, monitoring, and equipment control
• Complete daily reports, including relevant information, observations
• SIA frontline license required
Essential Requirements:
- You will be required to pass through a range of referencing and vetting checks.
- You must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years with a 5-year work history unless you have been in education.
- A background, qualification, or interest in the delivery of site security and/or customer service will be an advantage.
- Successful candidates must meet the security requirements before they can be appointed.
- Possess a valid Frontline SIA License.

Security Officer
Equans is looking for multiple Security Officers to join our team, working on the Southern Water contracts in Testwood, Southampton, SO40 3QU, on a permanent basis. This role involves working 42 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary of £26,208 per annum, along with an attractive benefits package. 4 on 4 off
Day and Night shift available
7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am
Candidates must have their own means of transport, such as a car, motorbike, or bicycle, as there is no public transport available near the site.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team in ensuring the safety and security of a critical site, its staff, visitors, and assets. This role is based in remote locations, primarily outdoors, overseeing the protection of water reservoirs. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring and controlling access, conducting regular patrols (up to 10 km), responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment, deterring criminal activities, and preventing unauthorized access.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the site, ensuring only authorised personnel are granted entry.
- Conduct regular foot patrols over varying terrain, covering distances of over 10 km per shift.
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents and emergencies.
- Operate and monitor security systems and access control software to detect potential risks.
- Maintain high levels of situational awareness and assess on-site security challenges.
- De-escalate confrontational situations and manage conflicts with professionalism.
- Liaise with management, emergency services, and other stakeholders during escalated incidents.
- Ensure compliance with security and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate with members of the public as required, ensuring a courteous and professional approach.
Requirements:
- A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) License.
- Proven experience in a security role or a related field.
- First Aid Certification.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Experience with access control and patrolling systems ie “redetrack” and other security technology,
- Clear criminal background check.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts calmly and effectively.
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern, including nights and weekends.
- Basic computer literacy for logging reports and accessing security systems.
