Senior Account Development Manager

Equans is looking for a Senior Account Development Manager to join our EV Charging Solutions business the role will be based in Leeds on a hybrid working pattern. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

The Senior Account Development Manager will manage their own customers alongside having management of other account managers in the team. The role will take ownership of key customer accounts across both public and private sectors as well as offering support and leadership to the team in managing their customers. It will ensure relationships are managed and developed to deliver extra value for the customer and for Equans.

 

What will you deliver?

 

The role is responsible for managing and growing key account relationships whilst also managing others within the team. The role will ensure that account plans and targets are set and achieved. Specifically:

  • Ensure active account plans are in place for all key customers
  • Financial targets – ensure that account level revenue and margin targets are achieved
  • Customer engagement – ensure that customers are engaged and their satisfaction is measured and improved through including them in research and gaining feedback (including the annual NPS survey)
  • Reporting of performance – ensure progress and results are reported through weekly and monthly reporting
  • Continual improvement – ensure learning is applied within and between accounts to drive best practice in the team
  • Contract management – ensure contracts are agreed, understood across EVS and delivered, including KPIs and SLAs
  • Operational management – work with the Operations team to ensure customers’ operational requirements are met; including project delivery, reporting, revenue returns and charger operation
  • Build effective relationships within each account – and ensure that the appropriate account links are made across the organisation with active customer account maps
  • Account renewals – ensure that the account renewal and extension process is managed to retain and grow customers
  • Trusted advisor and innovation – act as the EV expert for customers, keeping them informed of relevant industry updates and providing new solutions and ideas to support their needs

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience of managing account or customer facing teams
  • Degree or equivalent in business or related discipline preferred
  • Experience of managing and developing B2B relationships within a results focussed environment
  • Have solid experience working in a customer service focused technology industry
  • Experience of managing resources and teams within a technology-led environment
  • Proven ability of growing the value in customer relationships
  • Stakeholder management across multiple functions including IT, operations, finance and external suppliers
  • Experience of managing projects and activity through project gateways and governance, and experience of working with all levels of stakeholder up to senior management level

EV Estimator

Equans is looking for an EV Estimator to join our EV Charging Solutions business the role will be home based with some additional national travel. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

The EV Estimator will have an excellent working knowledge of bids, proposals and pricing.  Leading a team of Surveyors and Bid Coordinators.

What will you deliver?

  • The role will have management responsibility for a Surveyor and Bid coordinators.
  • You will contribute directly to Equan’s strategic vision of empowering transitions; working towards a low carbon future.
  • Will need to have an excellent eye for detail and be able to manage conflicting priorities and inspire the team to put the customer at the heart of our solutions.
  • You will work with key stakeholders, including the sales team and the supply chain, to deliver winning proposals in support of our business targets and objectives.
  • Work with the Business Development Director to navigate the internal governance requirements, ensuring that tender submissions are appropriately authorised before submission.
  • You will be responsible for the quality and competitiveness of our quotes, proposals and tenders.
  • Work with the Operations Project Managers, Stock and Logistics Manager and Operations Director.
  • Support the sales team to provide solutions that meet client requirements, at an appropriate price point, and maintain an excellent win rate.

EV Electrical Surveyor

Equans is looking for a Electrical Surveyor - EV to join our team to be home based on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary,  and benefits package.

The role holder will support the deployment team by carrying out site surveys for the electric vehicle charging equipment installations for commercial and public sector clients across the UK. They will work with the team to for the creation of design of the EV installations.

What will you deliver?

  • Support the sales team with winning works by obtaining best value quotes and highest quality works
  • Plan technical Surveys with clients and attend as required.
  • Ensure the health and safety of the team and sub-contractors is closely monitored and full compliance with Equans Management System
  • Ensure full compliance with CDM through Equans Management System
  • Meet clients and, if required, carry out technical surveys on proposed installation locations or identify key locations for deployment
  • Liaising with ICP/DNOs, back end system design, electrical design, installation specification and equipment specification
  • Cost management and reconciliation through PO/ Invoice procedures, ensuring projects are delivered on time and budget
  • Customer liaison
  • Good problem solving skills and able to rectify quickly and effectively on sites.
  • Build a close working relationship with clients and contractor account managers who will assist with day-to-day enquiries
  • Complete project planning and management, client liaison and management of site operatives
  • Installation crew management and support
  • Surveying and estimation of new and existing projects
  • Auditing of ongoing and completed installations
  • System registration and notification
  • Assume role of SME as required

Who are we looking for?

  • Electrical design background with experience and an understanding of EV related civils works and Street works – Permitting and Noticing
  • Knowledge EV related electrical utility networks  
  • Experience in the design and installation of electric vehicle charging equipment
  • Electrical qualifications such as 18th Edition, 2391/2394/2395/2396 City & Guilds or similar
  • Excellent computer and literacy skills to include working knowledge of Windows based software programmes Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of electrical design programmes
