Deputy Portering Team Leader
Equans is looking for a Deputy Portering Team Leader to join our team in Queen Alexandria Hospital, PO6 3LY on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £24,738.00 per annum and benefits package.
Shift Pattern:
Days of the Week: Sunday to Saturday (rotating schedule)
Shift Times: Night Shifts: 18:00 - 06:00 Day Shifts: 06:00 - 18:00 Morning Shifts: 06:00 - 14:00
What will you deliver?
- To assist in supervising and controlling a team of Portering staff providing both ad hoc and scheduled services to the Trust. Ensuring full coverage of rosters and effective completion of duties in line with performance standards.
- To provide a comprehensive service managing and logging data via the performance systems, accessing incoming job requests and allocating to porters according to performance requirements, location and other criteria.
- To provide high quality interface with Trust, maintaining sensitivity to needs of ward/department managers and staff, and providing information as necessary in relation to Portering services, in liaison with the Portering Team leader and management.

FLT Driver and Waste Operative
Equans is looking for a Night FLT driver and Waste Operative to join our team in Coca-Cola N18 3DJ on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 42 hours per week. On offer is a Salary of £14.10 per hour and benefits package.
Shift times: 4 on 4 off, from 06:00 to 18.00
(including weekends and bank holidays)
What will you deliver?
- Responsible for all basic Health and Safety rules, FLT pre -inspection checks and Balers pre – inspection checks.
- Reporting any near miss, incident, and accident.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Operating plastic and cardboard balers.
- Collecting waste from various waste stations in the CCEP factory.
- Processing waste and correctly segregating waste.
- Correctly storing waste in the designated holding areas and keeping the area tidy.
- Transporting Staff drinks from the Process yard to the Dusmo.
- Keeping the FLT track clean.
- Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to our client.
- Assisting with other duties inside the factory, when need it.

Kitchen Porter
EQUANS are recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to be based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, EH16 4SA. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £23,362 depending on skills and experience and benefits package.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 7am till 3pm (30 minute break)
What will you deliver?
Working under the direction of the Catering Supervisor, the Kitchen Porter will provide a reactive role that will
provide support as-and-when required across EQUANS catering outlets, while assisting in the delivery of a high
standard of food service meeting the requirements of food hygiene legislation and EQUANS Food Safety Management
System (FSMS) at the Royal infirmary of Edinburgh.
For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.
