Ward Host / Catering Assistant

EQUANS are recruiting for multiple Ward Host / Catering Assistants to be based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, EH16 4SA. This is a permanent part-time role working 20 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £12,459.20 and benefits package.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 2:30pm-6:30pm

This role includes a DS Basic check therefore ability to pass is essential

What will you deliver?

  • To provide a safe, hygienic, nutritious, and timely food service for patients.
  • Assisting in the delivery of a high standard of food service which meets the requirements of food hygiene legislation
  • Ward host/hostess would be expected to do basic food prep if required to go down to the main kitchen (pick/pack area)
  • Maintaining high standards of personal and general food hygiene as well as high standards of cleanliness in all work areas
  • Ward hosts would be expected to do basic food prep when in pick and pack along with minimal cleaning duties
  • Ensure that a high standard of personal grooming is maintained including wearing the required uniform and PPE provided.

Catering Assistant

Equans is looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team in King's College London (KCL) Franklin Wilkins Building, 150 Stamford Street, London SE1 9NH on a permanent basis working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £27,427.22 per annum and benefits package.

Shift times: Mainly Monday - Friday with occasional weekend and/or evening work with typical shift patterns being either 07:30 - 16:30 or 09:30 - 18:30, or any times in between, rostered for 9 hours per day less a 1 hour unpaid break.

What will you deliver?

The role will support the Catering Services function and provide a professional and competent level of service to all customers working closely with the catering team to ensure that the agreed services are delivered on time to the required standards.

You will work across several restaurants and coffee shops on our campus but be flexible and able to work in any of the Colleges catering outlets including delivered and hospitality services.

Caretaker

EQUANS is recruiting for a Caretaker to be based in Kings Oak Primary, Barnsley, S73 8TX.

This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £23,283.00 per annum and benefits package.

Shift times:

Monday to Friday 7am-3.30pm
 

Overview:

The role covers all aspects of general site management including litter picking, planned and reactive building maintenance, porterage, security, reception and being a key link between EQUANS and the school.

For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

Kitchen Porter

Equans is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team in Kings College London, Stamford St, London, SE1 9NQ on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £27,427.22 and benefits package.

Shift Pattern: 8 hours a day between the hours of 0600-2300, 5 out 7 days on rota basis.

To perform and assist in a variety of tasks including cleaning, washing, carrying and other manual duties as requested by the kitchen team.
