Equans is looking for a Bid Manager to join our bid team in Hatfield. The role is permanent and full-time. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. The role is based within Equans’ Places & communities South working winning team. You’ll be responsible for managing the entire bid process from research to tender submission and onto interview. We work on bids that range in value from £1 million to £500 million. Most of our bids are for the refurbishment of social housing, although public and commercial buildings are increasingly important. We work closely with a dedicated Estimating team who are responsible for handling the pricing element of bids. Our region covers the home counties, South East, and East of England. The work winning team manages up to 10 bids at a time, so it’s important to use our collective knowledge and experience to ensure we all succeed. While most of our bid opportunities follow a public procurement route, you will occasionally prepare and submit proactive pitch or proposal documents outside of a formal procurement.
