We have an exciting opportunity for a Hard FM Service Manager (Interface) to join our team providing Building Services maintenance at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Key Activities:
- Reporting to the Performance and Technical Compliance Manager
- Working closely with the Operations team, the role involves management of Subcontracted packages, Minor Projects and Defects as well as line management of Graduate Trainees and internal staff.
- Management of the Building Defects process. This includes substantiating the defect, delivering sustainable solutions, minimising operational and financial risk and ensuring appropriate documentation is embedded into the core contract process.
- Management and delivery of allocated minor Lifecycle Projects within agreed timescales and financial budgets.
- Plan and deliver corporate social responsibility activities liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Providing performance related data analysis where required utilising Power BI, Excel, CAFM, and other data analysis tools.
- Support the Technical Services Manager in delivering carbon reduction and sustainability targets.
- Working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with a one hour unpaid break
Skills & Qualifications:
- M&E technical qualifications in an engineering/building services discipline and comparable experience in building services and plant engineering are desirable
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment is desirable
- Must have previous experience in managing within an FM environment
- An understanding of profit/loss and forecasting is desirable
- Experience of compliance management is essential
- IOSH or other H&S qualification
- Sound IT skills
- Good communicator with people at all levels
- Good understanding of energy usage.
