EQUANS is looking for a Senior Technical Assurance Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Ensure compliance standards and documentation are understood and implemented by the contract engineering/compliance teams
  • Provide advice to strategic leaders and Subject Matter Expert support in Mechanical and Legionella Control disciplines, to the Divisions Operational teams regarding all aspects of general Compliance.
  • Support in the procurement, setting to work and monitoring of key service providers, ensuring inspections, maintenance, testing, verification and repairs are carried out to the correct standard.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support across the business including into bids, projects, new opportunities and day to day operational support, including advice and guidance on best practice standards, system and operational asset performance improvements.
  • Train our staff in compliance management best practices
  • Consider the use of technology and innovation to improve efficiency whilst maintaining standards in matters relating to the Central Technical Team and compliance across contracts.
  • To support policy development and the definition, adoption and sharing of best practice in engineering and technical disciplines.
  • Be a champion for continuous improvement, highlighting areas of best practice during site visits, and sharing these with the wider business

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven experience and expertise to understand how estates services can build risk, particularly in the PFI market and use this understanding to develop and implement appropriate assurance processes, concentrating on the key risks as they apply to the different businesses.
  • Member of a relevant Institution e.g. IMechE, CIBSE, IET
  • Sound general knowledge and understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Safety systems
  • Expertise in Mechanical and Legionella Control disciplines
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of PFI contracts and (S)HTM requirements
  • Good knowledge of general compliance in Facilities Management
  • Experience working in a highly competent, multi discipline engineering team
