We have an exciting opportunity for a Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (F,F&E) Co-ordinator to join our facilities team working on our Greater Manchester Police TFM contract based in Eccles, and covering the entire police estate across Greater Manchester. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.

The role:

  • Assist the Lifecycle Manager to ensure all of the Authorities users receive a quality service in relation to the provision of FF&E and that the Authority is able to understand the FF&E register and meet the strategic and tactical business objectives.
  • Ensure the contract delivers all services required in relation to FF&E to the client 
  • Manage the FF&E register using data collection.
  • Assist with tender process with FF&E manufacturers.
  • Provide input into the design standards and product catalogue as required.
  • Develop and define the data standards required to deliver client outcomes.
  • Understand assets risk in line with agreed contractual condition status.
  • Ensure the asset register is kept up to date and meets the data standard requirements.
  • Develop and manage the FF&E surveying program on a risk based approach to inform the FF&E register and lifecycle process.
  • Interface with capital project teams, working in coordination with the program management and estates teams.
  • Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday 

The person:

  • Experience within a complex and large estate is essential with an understanding of facilities management
  • Prior PFI experience is essential
  • Able to develop and manage relationships to ensure desirable outcomes
  • Ability to work across functions and with client and suppliers
  • IT literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Strong communicator and influencer
  • Attention to detail, quality driven approach
  • Experience of CAD systems is desirable
  • Previous experience in managing FF&E would be beneficial
