Equans is a renowned energies & services contractor and a proud member of the Bouygues global industrial group. Our expertise spans the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings and critical infrastructure worldwide.

We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for a proactive Commercial Plumber with a level II plumbing qualification to join our facilities team in Peterborough covering three secondary schools in the city. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

Key activities:

  • Complete reactive and planned maintenance activities
  • To complete occasional scheduled installation works 
  • Manage and maintain materials and workload
  • Update CAFM system and compliance records as required
  • Participation in a rolling callout rota

Skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Experience of building services/working in a maintenance environment
  • Must hold a recognised mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 2 (theory and practice) in a relevant mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • A strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures
