We have a great opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our solar project delivery team. The postholder will provide strong co-ordinated support for the Project Managers and ensure the provision of efficient, effective project management.

Key Activities:


  • To ensure that all work is carried out to contract specifications with regard to, workmanship, time scales, costs and is authorised and documented in accordance with company procedures
  • Ensure that all client queries are appropriately processed, recorded and resolved within the time scales required and repeat visits are minimised
  • Plan resource appropriately to ensure maximum utilisation of human resource (including travel costs/time) and minimise cost of materials and equipment to provide a cost-effective service
  • Ensure that all members of staff directly or indirectly employed under your direction carry out their duties in a safe manner, in compliance to the companies Health and Safety Policy and in particular that of any site-specific risk assessment
  • Ensure that all personnel have been issued with and utilise appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and that an appropriate inspection regime is in place and utilised
  • Ensure the consistent project delivery including robust, high quality services through management of the operational teams
  • Facilitate delivery of key performance indicators and performance monitoring data prescribed on a contractual basis, ensuring that operational monitoring mechanisms are accurate and that any individual performance issues are addressed
  • Develop, review and update the implementation Project Management and Mobilisation plans
  • Ensure compliance of project operations with the Project Quality and Health & Safety plans
  • Effectively manage supply chain to the Project in a cost effective way
  • Ensure supply chain audits are conducted and appropriate action plans put in place for improvements
  • Ensure adequate contracts are in place and enforced with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Develop a professional relationship with key supply chain partners to ensure project delivery for the Client.

Skills, qualifications & experience: 


  • Previous experience in delivering high quality administrative or project co-ordination services, ideally within construction, consultancy or project management environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational and financial tracking skills
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint
