EQUANS is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our team in Whitehall, London on a permanent, full time basis. On offer is a competitive salary banding of £50,000-£60,000 and benefits package. 


What will you deliver? 

  • Attends and contributes to relevant meetings as identified by the Contracts Manager
  • Control of Sub-Contractors
  • Management of PPM’s
  • Management of Insurance Inspections
  • General Duties inc; ensure rota is completed and kept up to date, manage staff holidays ensuring site cover is maintained at all times, ordering materials for site, site inspections and audits carried out monthly, attending meetings as and when required to fulfil role, maintaining calibrations of equipment.

Who are we looking for? 


  • Understands the techniques and maintains a level of awareness, to ensure that all current operational / working practices are in line with EQUANS and industry practice standards.
  • Good understanding of Boiler Plant and PSSR (Pressure Systems Safety Regulations)
  • Experience of District Heating and or Standby Power Generation.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH qualified.
  • Experience of Managing a SSOW/ Permit System on site.
  • Assessed in Boiler Operator / Maintenance competence.
  • Experience of ISO 45001 & ISO14001 ideal but not essential.
  • The Control of Asbestos and current legislation
  • BTEC / HNC Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
