Equans is looking for a Technical Services Manager (Electrical) to join our team at Fife Victoria Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competative salary, bonus, and benefits package.

 

The role holder will be responsible for the management of Contract(s) and associated Service Levels & Key Performance Indicators. Provide assurance and completion of deliverables set out within the contract.

This role also requires the individual to be part of the “On Call Managers” rota.

What will you deliver?

  • Day to Day management & support of Electrical resource, supporting HV, LV, and Electrical systems & equipment to comply with successful delivery of contractual obligations and outputs.
  • Ensure that the integrity of the Critical systems is always achieved minimising downtime of assets. Accountable (working with other TSM’s) for the successful delivery of Planned & Reactive maintenance activity in accordance with the Schedule of Programmed Maintenance. Ensure all Corrective & Remedial works are completed and duly recorded.
  • Controlling of CAFM system to ensure suitable job plans, frequencies, classifications, etc are in place, control and keep up to date the Asset Registers for site(s).
  • Ensure Safe Systems of Works are in place (including technical compliance)
  • Manage Authorised Person (AP), Competent Person (CP) resources and undertake such roles as defined and needed by the business.
  • Management of additional works and lifecycle maintenance programmes.
  • Safely manage (in compliance with procurement rules) external supply chain for the provision of materials and equipment required for the delivery of works. Ensure safe storage, transportation, use and disposal on site.
  • Provide a culture of Health & Safety compliance with concise reporting of observations, near miss, incidents, accidents, etc…and conduct Management Safety Visits and Premises Inspections. Controlling of works to CDM 2015 inclusive of associated Risk Assessment & Method Statements. • Manage site wide Risk Assessments (such as Fire) and other statutory documentation (such as Business Continuity Plan, Written Schemes, etc)
  • Managing internal and external audits and assurance to a high standard, completing, and delivering on actions as required.
  • Requirement to work closely with site teams, client and NHS Fife staff providing information supporting requests in a timely fashion.

Who are we looking for?

  • Able to promote a positive diverse & inclusive culture and fully embrace Equans Ethics, Diversity & Inclusion policy, and procedures.
  • Experience in effective management of Finance across contract to successful delivery on budget and forecasts.
  • Knowledge of all HR matters relating to your team and supporting others on site. Ensure all Performance Reviews, Development Plans and Training are up to date at all times (including your own).
  • HNC/HND within an Electrical discipline and having recognised Electrical qualifications and/or fully qualified Electrician, with qualifying experience in similar role.
  • Familiarity with the Healthcare sector, and day to day operation and maintenance of varying types of building/premises. Experience/Qualifications within a technical capacity relating to SHTM 06- 01, 02, 03, SHTM 06-03 with qualification at LV & HV Appointed/Authorised Person.
  • Further knowledge and experience within Confined Spaces, Fire Safety, Lifts, etc….
  • Project management experience in delivering projects in a live working environment.

This role includes a DBS Basic check therefore ability to pass is essential.
