We have an exciting opportunity for a Helpdesk Manager to join our Facilities Management team at the Addenbrooke’s Treatment Centre in Cambridge. This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

Key activities:

  • Reporting to the Contract Manager
  • To provide an integrated Performance management function ensuring a continuous process of improvement incorporating analytical assessment of Performance Mechanism & Commercial contract performance including Quality Failures deliverables.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the contract and advise Contract Manager of possible implications on events that occur, including trend analysis evaluations.
  • Incorporating Statutory compliance evaluation and operational reporting, supporting operational team for all aspects of delivery of Statutory Compliance to Health Technical Memorandum & SFG20 guidelines.
  • Audit processes to ensure accuracy of information and compliance with internal and external Management Indicators, incorporating internal reporting and meeting attendance.
  • Interface with Trust & Project co-clients and incorporate reporting to all parties for evidential based Statutory Compliance
  • To assist in the administration of budgeting and financial management aspects of the contract.
  • Motivate the team and provide effective communication and support whilst supporting continued organisational change, and the achievement of greater efficiencies and productivity.
  • Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday

Skills, qualifications & experience

  • Must have experience of line management in a healthcare environment and in particular a focus on Helpdesk operations
  • Must have detailed and experienced understanding of healthcare contracts & services, including PFI Contracts
  • Must be able to demonstrate effective planning, organising and prioritising skills.
  • High level of IT literacy in using Microsoft and CAFM packages (good Excel is essential)
  • Proven track record of meeting targets and deadlines
  • Good communication and influencing skills
  • Able to use own initiative and work well under pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent understanding of reporting procedures and record-keeping
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to analyse and interpret information quickly
