Part Time Cleaner

EQUANS are recruiting for a Part Time Cleaner to be based in Gateshead Magistrates and County Court NE8 1DT. This is a permanent, part-time role working 20 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £10.90 per hour

Shift times: 

Mon – Fri 

7:00-09:00 and 15:30-17:30

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
• Working with work colleagues and contractors carrying out cleaning tasks.
• Cleaners will be expected to make sure that all their working areas in these premises are kept to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety and presentation;
• Report to Supervisor/Manager any maintenance issues that may arise
• Be used to working under pressure, problem solve and to use their initiative when necessary;
• Be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and COSHH laws or
regulations to make certain that all company Health and Safety policies, procedures are adhered to.
• Be prepared to perform any other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisor / Site Manager;
• Ensure that instructions for the maintenance, cleaning and storage of equipment are always followed;
• Keeping our buildings clean and serving our customers efficiently and professionally.

Who are we looking for?

Previous cleaning experience is essential
Candidates should also have an intermediate knowledge of Health & Safety requirements, particularly
in the use of hazardous substances and their controls.

For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential
