Cleaner Supervisor

Equans is looking for a Cleaner Supervisor to join our team in Kingston Upon Thames Crown Court, KT1 2BB on a Permanent basis.. This is a Full Time role working 45 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary

What will you deliver? 6am – 3pm

The post-holder will be responsible for taking full responsibility of the building and section/area of the cleaning services provision delivered.

The post holder will the following responsibilities:

1.Managing local cleaning of building supporting Facilities Supervisor
2.Stock and equipment control, inclusive of cleaning consumables,

3. Absence must be called into Facilities supervisor 2hrs before shift
Starts.

4. Annual leave request must be approved a month in advance where possible unless family
emergency by Facilities Manager, If Cleaning operative can get cover, then the name
of this employee must also be given to Facilities Supervisor

5 Look after the cleaning team on your site and report any issues to Facilities Supervisor

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience of supervising a cleaning team in multiple locations (essential)
• COSHH Knowledge (desirable)
• Able to instruct others on the use of cleaning materials and equipment
• Have an understanding of basic health and safety principles
• Able to motivate a cleaning team to attain a consistent specified standard of cleaning
• Able to organise cleaning staff to meet work schedules
• Good communication and customer care skills
• Be sufficiently fit to be able to undertake the specified tasks
• Work as a team player and pass on knowledge to others

For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential
