Equans is looking for an Accounts Payable, Team member to join our team in Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne on a Fixed tern basis of 12 months. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £21,500 per annum and benefits package.

Overview:
As a member of our Accounts Payable and Shared Services team, you will have the ability to work on a hybrid basis, working from our brand-new office space at the Quorum Business Park for 2 days each week, with 3 days at home (following completion of training).

The successful applicant will have exemplary customer service skills, along with excellent problem solving, planning and administration experience. Full training will be provided, so accounting specific experience may not be necessary.

What will you deliver?
- You will be customer focused, proactive and able to sue your own initiative.
- Have high accuracy invoice processing and ensure the quality of your own workload.
- You will be able to engage with team and wider business and contribute to KPI/Team objectives and goals.
- You will be the point of contact for ‘procure to pay’ queries and invoice processing.
- You will be responsible for supplier statement reconciliations, internal/external supplier queries.
- You’ll be able to schedule and process payments, reconciliations and ‘period end’ close activities.
