Equans is looking for a Project Management Officer to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent on a fixed term basis for 12 months. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Support the project team in delivering all aspects of project works.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the lifecycle projects in order to meet the contractual agreement.
  • Assist in the preparation of commercial sub-contracts.
  • Oversee all contract activities to ensure all safety aspects are managed and monitored in accordance with site procedures and requirements.
  • Take ownership of the client’s needs and pursue effective communications with the customer in order to build a stable relationship.
  • Operate Equans QA procedures and maintain clear and legible records as required.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H&S and environmental regulations.
  • Organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems.
  • Ability to measure, work to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information.
  • Understand CAFM systems (Maximo)
  • Flexible working hours required.

Who are we looking for?

  • Competent in use of Microsoft packages, particularly Word and Excel to produce accurate and well-presented text, data and pictorial reports.
  • Demonstrable experience in Project management, formal qualifications would be preferable.
  • Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment.
  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications preferred.
  • Professional qualifications, or working towards, MBIFM/CMI or similar.
  • Strong customer focus with experience of delivering high standards of Customer Service. Previous FM experience within a PFI environment would be an advantage.
  • Full driving licence required.
  • Ability to work under pressure, take ownership of problems through to satisfactory conclusion.

This role includes a DBS Enhanced check therefore ability to pass is essential.
